The Fun and Easy Way to Spice Up Your Emails So That People Actually WANT To Open Them
Have you ever sent an email to your list and thought, meh.
I get it. It’s hard to feel inspired all the time.
But what if you could send emails that your subscribers actually want to read?
The good news is… there is a way. And it’s actually fun (shhh!)
Scouts honor.
You see… a well-placed gif is worth a thousand words. Well, maybe not a thousand, but you get what I mean.
It adds some fun and personality to what you’re writing.
What’s not to love?
That’s the power of a gif.
You said good news… does that mean there’s bad news?
Well, it’s not exactly “bad” news, but you might want to pause for a minute before you go slapping popular gifs on all your emails.
Why? Well, because gifs are images (remember the 1000 words thing). And by using images of famous people, you’re missing a chance to build up your own brand recognition.
We all love a good Friends, Seinfeld, or Office gif. But everyone already knows who they are, so these gifs aren’t really helping that much.
So what’s a business owner to do?
How about creating some of your own gifs to sprinkle in your emails?
But I don’t know how to make my own gifs…
No problem. You can learn. I promise. If this Gen-Xer can learn to do it, anyone can (well, ok, almost anyone).
So, here’s what we’re gonna do. We’re gonna have a live Zoom meeting and learn how to spiff up our emails.
You bring your best emails or a sequence that needs a little love, and we’re going to put on our gif thinking caps and these babies spiced up.
Introducing The Gif Up Your Email Game LIVE Workshop
In this 90-minute workshop, we’ll put on our gif strategy hats and figure out what gifs we can create to step up our email game.
Then we’ll get to work creating gifs for those emails.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll know how to make basic on-brand gifs that you can use in your emails.
But I don’t want my face on my gifs…
I understand. It feels weird at first. But you’re running a business, and putting your face out there helps build the know, like, trust factor.
Plus my kids think it’s cool. But what do they know… they’re 7.5 and 4.5.
And I probably shouldn’t tell you this (because I want you to make some with your face…), but you can create branded gifs that don’t have your face.
Easy for you to say… you feel comfortable dropping your gifs everywhere…
Let me be honest with you for a minute. I’m a copywriter, not a performer. I’d much rather be tapping the keys and writing something epic than be on camera. So creating gifs is a mindset issue for me.
Sometimes growth means doing things that are uncomfortable. But the more we do them, the easier they become.
And I’ll show you a few tricks that I’ve discovered to help make the process a little less intimidating.
